I am a professional who is most comfortable in a
work environment that calls for me to continually acquire
new – and perhaps nonstandard – knowledge and/or skills in
order to accomplish the tasks/projects at hand. My varied
background and my ability to rapidly acquire and exploit new
and diverse knowledge and skills could be of benefit in many
areas.
My
previous education and achievements have been primarily in
materials science and the spatial fields of remote sensing
and geographic information systems (GIS). Additionally, I
spent five years doing blast and ballistic testing of
vehicles.
My personal achievements include considerable independent
international travel experience – especially Europe – going
back to 1987. I published a short book on travel in Europe
in 2018.
